Element3 - Smartphone Developer
Following the success of the Shadow in 2007, Element3 was asked to create the Shadow2. The Shadow2 is an upgrade from the original Shadow, at a higher price point.
To establish the Shadow2 as a premium product, we increased the perception of LCD size on the device. The control set is further integrated into the screen to give it a cinematic look. The final result is a smartphone design that is sleeker and curvier than its predecessor, garnering critical acclaim for its updated look and feel.
Element3 excels at collaboration and management of business and cultural nuances on both sides of the Pacific. Through our leadership, we coordinated teams from both sides of the Pacific to provide unprecedented levels of development progress. Element3 worked with T-Mobile to streamline the industrial design validation and approval process from from ten weeks down to just two weeks. As a result, the Shadow2 avoided all of the usual industrial design and hardware engineering bottlenecks.
