Joey was conceived from the ground up to be the customer touchpoint for a game-changing digital media experience. Instead of purchasing songs, users would subscribe to Rhapsody music service, which would give them access to millions of songs and videos.
The beauty of this system is the simplicity. Simply by listing music on Joey, users would get automatic updates on the device with the latest releases from artists and sources they liked. Using built-in VF-IR, Joey users could quickly share music on the go with other Joey users. A typical album would take fifteen seconds to share. Element3 took pride in being the product development firm to design Joey, an entirely new take on portable music players.
